Joined Heart have just released their new showreel
It’s available on our updated ‘View a Video Sample‘ page and talks couples through our wedding video service. Additionally, couples are given the option to view a number of highlights from our recent weddings.
It’s our second time at Doxford Hall and the venue didn’t disappoint again! Charlotte and Paul both enjoyed an exciting and traditional day in Northumberland.
They opted for our single operator package and the results were excellent - take a glance at some of their preparations:
July’s been a hectic month in the height of wedding season but that doesn’t mean we’ve compromised on quality. In fact we’ve had some of our best feedback ever, here’s a couple:
Wow, what can I say. From beginning to end, you have captured everything that was our wedding day and the way you have done that is just perfect.
We have watched the DVD and are absolutely delighted with it and would be delighted to recommend you to any other couples.
Thanks a lot for a professional and quality service which has given us a quality record to assist with out lasting memories of our special day.
We’ve been not stop this July with weddings taking us from Sunderland up to Northumberland. We’ve seen some excellent venues and exciting weddings and will be posting some previews soon!

What difference does 2 camera operators make?
There’s a clear difference between 2 cameras and 2 operators. Most wedding companies offer two (or more cameras) but with only one operator. This severely restricts the quality of your wedding programme because the one operator has to split their time between setting up equipment at the church and reception while missing key events like photographs and guests.
Laura and Jonathan celebrated a great (sunny) day in Sunderland. Starting in a church in Roker, right near the sea front and onto the Stadium of Light for an exciting reception. The couple were both huge football fans and met at a Sunderland game so it was apt that they celebrated their wedding there.
Claire and Peter’s wedding started with a rural wedding in Mitford, Morpeth - a grand church with a tiny parish in a miniature town.
The wedding party then went to celebrate at Jesmond Dene House, Newcastle. It’s the first time we’ve had the pleasure to work in Jesmond Dene House but it is a truly excellent location! Set amongst the Dene it offers a luxury and idyllic retreat from the urban bustle only metres away!
We enjoyed a great day at Walworth Castle for Catherine & Igor’s wedding. Married in the grand ballroom with the evening reception in the courtyard conservatory - a great day with excellent weather!
Karen & Steven enjoyed a grand day at Wynyard Hall for their wedding and reception. This grand venue is perfect for weddings. Karen stayed the night before and enjoyed a luxurious suite to get ready while Steven arrived in an Aston Martin.
They asked us to get plenty of guest messages and that’s exactly what we did! Take a look at some of them:
Remember with Joined Heart guest messages are included in all our packages unlike some other companies!
We were recently approached by the Newcastle University Dance Society to film the final performance of their 2009 Dance show!
The show was brilliant, some excellent choreography and dancing from the students (who aren’t studying dance but degrees in other subjects!) in an excellent venue at the Royal Grammar School, Jesmond.
We hope to see the show again next year - congratulations to everyone involved!
Annika and Gavin enjoyed a small intimate wedding at The Quayside Exchange, Sunderland! They were married with just over 30 guests in a small room in the building followed by their wedding breakfast right next door. A great day and a lovely venue.
Following us investing in some new HD capable equipment a few months ago we’re now pleased to announce that we can offer weddings filmed and edited in HD and delivered on blu-ray discs. Why not give us a call or an email to discuss this exciting development?
Lisa and Paul wanted something different for their wedding day and called us to ask if we’d be interested in making a marry-okee.
We we’re excited at the chance of doing something different so we jumped at the opportunity. We filmed for a few hours at Beamish Hall after their wedding where we had a variety of their guests singing lines. From the excentric to the shy we had them all.
Lisa and Paul had this to say:
“We received excellent service from Joined Heart, both during meetings and conversations before the wedding and also on the day itself. Our guests loved being involved in the marioke and everyone was eagerly anticipating the arrival of the dvd…..which is fantastic and such a brilliant memory of our day. We were amazed at how quickly Joined Heart pulled it together and it was great to have it waiting when we got back from honeymoon. I would not hesitate to recommend Joined Heart - the quality of the finished product combined with the friendly but professional manner of Joined Heart make it a great experience. Thank you so much.
